What we changed, and when

26 June 2026 - Bucharest pilot launch

• Interactive map with the real boundaries of the 6 sectors and the official coefficient from DGPMB (the Bucharest Police) for 2020-2025, coloured by risk level.
• 41 real incidents from official press releases and the press, each with a link to the source.
• A demonstration layer of incidents and an AI prediction layer (place-based model).
• The Cases page: a filterable table with CSV export.
• The Analysis page: trend charts and the “compare your area” tool.
• Open data in JSON/GeoJSON, under a CC BY 4.0 licence.
• Legal pages: privacy, cookies, terms, accessibility statement.
• Security: Content-Security-Policy, HSTS, Leaflet hosted locally, no inline scripts.

Sources and frequency

The sector coefficient is updated once a year, as DGPMB publishes it. Real incidents are added periodically from official press releases and the press. As we integrate feeds from Poliția Locală (the local police) in Phase 1, updates will become more frequent.
